About Me

Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog! I’m Jeri Ann.

I’m a quilting mom to two wonderful children, Taylor and Seth, and one amazing bonus son-in-love, Roan. I live in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains, just a few miles from Lake Ouachita in Mount Ida, Arkansas.

In my day job, I serve as the Food Services Director at the most amazing summer camp in the world. When I’m not planning meals or feeding campers, you’ll usually find me quilting, cross stitching, reading a good book, or exploring America’s incredible national parks.

I was blessed with a grandmother who shared her love of crafting with me from an early age. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of sitting underneath her quilt frame—the kind that hung from the ceiling—as she stitched beautiful quilts overhead. Those moments planted the seeds for a lifelong love of quilting.

Although I dabbled in quilting over the years, I truly returned to the craft in 2016. I started this blog in 2023 to document my quilting journey, and I’m still a little sad that I didn’t document those first seven years of projects! My goal is to use this space to keep a record of my quilts, creative projects, and adventures so I can look back on the journey and hopefully inspire others along the way.
